More Vacation Creation Pictures!

Here are more pictures from my Pompano Beach vacation! No beachy shots and no (heaven forbid!) bikini shots of me! No pictures of Nate and me at water's edge but......
The flower pot card idea came from Andrea Walford'sBlog. Andrea used Petal Pizzazz but I used DSP and CS Die-Cuts and Best Wishes and More.
See below for more!!!

Vacation Creations!

There was definitely no time for stamping and creating in NYC but there were plenty of opporunties to study colors, mosaics, and many works of art at restaurants, in the subways, in parks and of course in The Guggenheim and The Modern Museum of Art.
Pompano Beach was a different story! I spent one afternoon with a friend whose music career of 50+ years we are chronicling in a very large scrapbook. We have been working on it for the past year and though it was originally a tribute for Elaine's retirement celebration, it grew to include many wonderful pictures and momentos from her earliest days in teaching.
I was able to find a few morning and afternoon hours between reading, sunning, water aerobics and scouting out great restaurants to really complete my fun!! Here are some of my "vacation creations!"

OSW
Here is my version of OSW--One Sheet Wonder! I used:
1 sheet of Whisper White Card Stock (CS)
3 sheets of Rich Razzleberry CS
I limited myself to
3 stamps (Priceless) and one Stampin' Around Wheel (Always in Bloom)
2 Colors: Rich Razzleberry and Always Artichoke
2 lunch bags, small post-its, ribbon scraps

My next hostess will receive all 12 of these items as a hostess gift: 2 gift bags, 4 greeting cards, 3 gift tags/post-it holders, and 3 bookmark/gift tags.

POCKETS!
The note/card holders below are made from one 8 1/2 X 11 piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP). I enjoyed using Circle Circus stamps and some of my Die-Cuts!

Razzleberry Pop-Tart!
I love this pop-up card based on a design from Stampin' Up's Demonstrator Mag!

I Thought I Had Retired! :-)

It's been a terrific, fun-filled summer! I have so enjoyed the extra time to stamp, work on home projects, family time, and some great travel adventures! (Hilton Head, NYC (What happens in the Big Apple, stays in the Big Apple!) right??) and some relaxation/beach time in Pompano Beach. My suitcase is still packed for one more trip to the Summer Florida Vocal Association Board Meeting and Convention in Altamonte Springs!

I'll still be getting to participate in the "music world" with my committee work and by assisting my good friend, Cindy Johnson, who has been named Brevard County Music Resource Teacher! Yay for Cindy! I still hope to continue adjudicating choirs, mentoring teachers, and coaching young singers! But.....I also get to STAMP!

My schedule is:

August 2 Workshop at Darla's House
August 22 Workshop at Amy's House
August 30 Stampin' Sunday Open House (My House)
